Police accidentally knock a cyclist off his bike, then ARREST him for the craziest reason
Shocking vision has emerged online of an outrageous incident involving police in New York.
The surveillance footage appears to show a cyclist getting struck off his bike by a police vehicle, before then being immediately arrested in dramatic scenes.
The individual, 26-year-old Heins Rodriguez, is now suing the police department over the incident.
Reports suggest police initially claimed Rodriguez had headed the wrong direction down a one-way road, despite the footage appearing to show otherwise.
Additionally, there were claims that the cyclist was in possession of a dozen bags of marijuana, yet no such charges were offered up.
Rodriguez was in fact taken into custody for supposedly resisting arrest, yet these charges were later dropped.
