“Womp Womp”: Trump lackey mocks immigrant girl with down syndrome live on air
The state of political discourse continues to reach crushing new lows in the United States.
In the midst of the Donald Trump administration’s policy change to separate migrant children from their parents and place them in cages, there was (somehow) plenty of debate over whether the awful approach was justified.
While it has since been revoked after Trump agreed to sign an executive order to bring it to an end – having earlier claimed his administration’s policy to have instead been a law passed by the Democrats – the repercussions for those who supported it are still being felt.
Former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski has been sacked from his role as a speaker for Leading Authorities, after an appearance on Fox News, in which he appeared to mock the story of a young girl with down syndrome who had been separated from her parents due to the policy.
