This haunting alt-pop duo is giving us serious London Grammar vibes
Folia is an alt-pop duo from Melbourne. The pair (Claire Bristow and Calvin Regester) met in late 2016 and started developing their sound.
They are both involved in all aspects of their music from song-writing to production.
Whilst influenced by many genres, they best describe their sound as alternative/ambient-pop and are influenced by acts such as London Grammar and The XX.
Their new single is called ‘Maybe (I don’t know what love is)’.
In this track, they say love is subjective and therefore impossible to discover what it actually is.
