Infrared imaging makes the human body look like something from a sci-fi horror
This unsettling music video is shot entirely in the infrared spectrum.
“Ghost” is the latest single from UK rock band, The Horrors. The music video, directed by in/out, was shot using an FLIR thermal imaging camera, revealing what’s under the surface of the human body.
As a result, the usually familiar human body is rendered unrecognisable and alien, resembling something from a sci-fi horror film.
The in/out directorial team tend towards unique imagery with a focus on performance and dance. They made a conscious effort not to get too bogged down in the technology, striking a balance with the content.
