This lost tape of Trump’s secret alias is so CRINGEWORTHY it physically hurts
Yeah, we know it sounds childish, quite pathetic and somehow surreal, but the current US president has been caught multiple times using different aliases to feed the press positive information about himself.
Washington Post reporter Jonathan Greenberg has recently unearthed a conversation from May 1984, where Trump, posing as a supposed aide identified as “John Barron” exaggerated Trump’s wealth to get into Fortune 400, the magazine’s yearly ranking of America’s richest people.
Greenberg was working for Fortune at the time, and had valued Trump’s holdings at $200, only a fifth of what the real estate mogul claimed to possess in interviews.
Donald Trump/John Barron called the reporter to convince him of how loaded he really was.
