Nigel Farage gets brutally grilled by Waleed Aly when asked about pension money from the EU
Nigel Farage is a British politician, well known for his role for the Brexit campaign. He was also once a former parliamentary member for the European Union which makes him eligible for receiving about $130,000 AUD from the EU as pension. So when Waleed Aly questioned him about his pension and whether he would be taking the money from the EU, he got a bit flustered.
He claims that although most of his pension will come from the U.K government, he will indeed be getting some money from the EU. Waleed Aly did not hold back there and ask if it would not be more honourable to refuse the money from the EU as he is such an established member of the Brexit campaign. That’s when things got a little bit rough for Nigel Farage and he hit back with his own answers.
