Q&A: Medical marijuana user perfectly explains why Australia’s drug driving laws are broken

Michael Balderson demands the panel of Q&A to question whether the current government’s law surrounding medicinal cannabis needs to be re-evaluated after he was arrested in his small hometown of Nimbin.

Medicinal cannabis in Australia currently has no impairment level which means anyone caught with any trace of THC in their system, regardless of prescription or not, can be penalised.

THC or tetrahydrocannabinol is the main psychoactive ingredient in cannabis which is currently being used to treat chronic or terminal illnesses where conventional medicines do not work.
